It’s a bit of a task to get me out of the bed every morning. I have never really been a morning person. Which is a huge problem, because I am not a night person as well. Once I am awake, there is no stopping though. Then I am an all out hurricane Jane. This does not, however, resolve the fact that I often have vereeeee little time left to put together a breakfast. But on most days, I manage one. The trick is simple – pack in loads of nutrients and taste into a recipe that’s quick to make, and pretty to look at. Or the big boy in the house will look at it suspiciously, and poke its components with the requisite cutlery, expecting something to rise out of it.
So yeah, quick, pretty and healthy. Believe me, it’s possible. In a lazy, sleep loving, work-from-home, attention deficient writer’s world, strange and fascinating things happen. Exhibit A – Guiltless Granola Smoothie Bowls.
Let me know what you think of this quick fix breakfast bowl, which by the way is packed with fibre, proteins, probiotics and vitamins. Don’t let that scare you. It tastes divine.
